Meet the Founders
At age 13, it was Ijana’s idea to create Back-to-Homeschool Magazine. She was head of the Writer’s Board until age 16 in 2012, when she retired from working on BTH full-time. However, Ijana still contributes to Back-to-Homeschool to this day.
Besides being one of the founders of BTH, Ijana also enjoys playing soccer and takes various classes including homeschool classes and college courses. She has a younger brother named Aidan, who came up with the actual name Back-to-Homeschool!

Patricia, or Trisha for short, gladly accepted the invitation to help Ijana create Back-to-Homeschool Magazine at age 14. Now at age 17, she creates the covers and article layout for the magazine, as well as writing some of the content and adding illustrations and photographs. She created and runs the BTH website and is also in charge of subscriptions and the BTH Pen Pals program.
Besides being one of the founders of BTH, Trisha also takes ITF Taekwon-Do and Doce Pares Eskrima. In addition to her BTH articles, Trisha also likes to write for martial arts magazines. Her favorite homeschool-work is anything that has to do with writing and she has taken three writing courses at a community college! She has three brothers and one sister, and a huge fluffy dog.
